Ethan S A special-effects extravaganza (for 1924), this is a very faithful adaptation of the story, probably based on the stage play. Betty Bronson is an excellent Peter Pan. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/02/21 Full Review cees t More color and effects than Seven Samurai, but the lack of voices just didn't do it for me. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Ruslan L Classic Disney cartoon. :) Peter Pen is a legend. Even though this animated film was made decades ago, it still looks amazing on the big screen at the cinema. Excellent story line. Fun for kids and families. Mildred Spain New York Daily News Never has a picture been better photographed. It is as clear and beautiful as your first memory. Ernest Torrence is a gorgeous Capt. Hook. Anna May Wong is Tiger Lily. Cyril Chadwick and Esther Ralston are delightful. Oct 20, 2022 Full Review Roy Ellarcotte Detroit Free Press These dreams are brought to the screen no cleverly, so convincingly and yet so simply that they provide a film of pleasing excitement, of rich humor and on a few occasions a tear or two. Oct 20, 2022 Full Review Mae Tinee Chicago Tribune Peter Pan is a perfectly lovely, funny, Interesting, plaint, weird movie, and if Sir James Barrie is one-half as tickled with it as are the youthful (young-young and old-young) [viewers], why, he ought to be cockadoodle-dooing just as Peter does. Oct 20, 2022 Full Review H.E. Shumlin Billboard As far as I am concerned the picture version of James Barrie’s famous play is one of the most enjoyable pictures which has ever graced the motion picture screen. Mar 16, 2023 Full Review Robert E. Sherwood LIFE Peter Pan is so extraordinarily beautiful, so utterly true to the childish spirit in which it was originally written, that I have no choice in the matter: I must fall down and blubber. Oct 20, 2022 Full Review Martin Dickstein Brooklyn Daily Eagle Betty Bronson, playing her first really Important role in the films, leaves no doubt concerning Sir Barrie's good Judgment In choosing her to play Peter.
