Greg R Memories of my Florida before it was taken over by imports. What an amazing story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/25/23 Full Review Michelle E By far amazing production, definitely worth watching! Beautiful documentary. GREAT WORK!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/17/23 Full Review Idyll P An interesting dive into a little known slice of Miami history. Finally a documentary that isn't just about crime and drug trafficking! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/04/23 Full Review Erik W Good documentaries have a few qualities: exclusive footage, a solid narrator, a solid soundtrack, and an easy to follow story. This film has none of the qualities of an entertaining or informative documentary. It's 100% shark fisherman talking about other shark fisherman, with old photos of the sharks they caught. I'm not sure how this is supposed to be more entertaining than a photo album. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/30/23 Full Review Candice R South Beach Shark Club is a compelling documentary directed by Robert Requejo Ramos that takes viewers on an intimate and insightful journey. The film explores the transformative power of mentorship and the fascinating world of shark fishing. Robert Ramos skillfully weaves together authentic storytelling, stunning cinematography, and thought-provoking interviews to create a documentary that captures the essence of the era. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Hanna O A must watch! South Beach Shark Club is an incredible documentary that has a little something for everyone. It is not only a true testament to the real history of Miami Beach, but also a fascinating look into the true grit and dedication to the shark fishing sport. It introduces you to a delightfully charismatic community within it and their stories will have you borderline nostalgic afterwards, wishing you were there to see it all in person. Even if you aren't into fishing, you will be after you watch this. This doc will "hook" you in right away and you should "catch" it ASAP if you have yet to see it. Highly recommend!
