Ariana Bacle Entertainment Weekly No matter how grim the circumstances, people find a way to get through -- and these last people on earth (and in space) are about to once again prove that week after week with,... humor and heart. Sep 13, 2018 Full Review Inkoo Kang MTV The show is often so clever that it should satisfy those who require only a morsel of heart (or none at all) in their entertainment. Apr 12, 2016 Full Review Vikram Murthi AV Club It's become warmer and more inviting without losing what made it special. Rated: B+ Sep 28, 2015 Full Review Randy Dankievitch TV Over Mind Trimming the fat of the secondary cast and nonsensical humor is all this show needed. Mar 10, 2020 Full Review Daniel Johnson Screen Rant The show's original concept and the comedic sensibility of Forte, its series creator and star, give us confidence that the series will retain the funny, no matter which direction it ends up going. Sep 28, 2015 Full Review Eric Goldman IGN Movies I can see this being a big turn off for a mainstream audience, but I love just how far they're going here with pushing the boundaries of a what you'd see in a half hour network sitcom. Audience Member We begin to glimpse a glimmer of paucity, but it is still passable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member So Fun and Fresh loved every second! Bing watched the hell out of this ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member that mike plot twist was sooo. good Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member An often improved sophomore year for the series (give-or-take some stretches in the middle), that succeeds at being as surprising as it is hilarious. Instead of falling into the pitfall of continuing to have Will Forte's slacker protagonist be unlikable, his character gets a believable re-haul this year and miraculously comes off as sympathetic. In fact, it may even further shock viewers to find that the rest of the characters do some rather amoral things to each other this season, but it causes for more dynamic storylines. Hell, the show even makes great use of being on network TV by finding ways to subvert the ridiculous FCC limitations (apparently there can be now thrusting during sex scenes) by always finding a way to make it part of the series awkward/wacky sense of humor. One of TV's sharpest and most imaginative comedies, and for my money it's a better time in the post-apocalypse than The Walking Dead could ever hope to be. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Einfach großartige Comedy! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I really want to like this show. Will Forte is hilarious. I can feel his humor throughout the show, but it really only works for him. When he, and the writers, choose to ascribe hypocritical or egotistical desires to other characters, it actually infuriates me.
