Audience Member A ridiculous TV show in which a guy can DATE a dozen girls at the same time, no sane person would do that in real life! GOLD DIGGER, bad values can also have a bad effect on teenagers! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member If I could give 0 stars I would. This was the worst season ever! Never watching this show again. I've been watching since the beginning but no more! The way they discarded Chris Harrison all the way to the stupid last episode! Horrible! So sick of the "wokeness" and everyone being a racist being shoved down our throats! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Disgusting how many mean girls are on this season. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This season has been the absolute worst season I have ever watched. There have always been a mean girl in the house, but this season is full of bullies. I'm done with this show. Ali Barthwell New York Magazine/Vulture This is the first Black Bachelor. And not only is he the first, he's the first Black Bachelor with absolutely no charisma and no defining qualities, who wants us all to know he's totally going to date 22-year-old white women. Rated: 2/5 Jan 5, 2021 Full Review Gwen Ihnat AV Club Unlike Colton ("I'm a virgin!") or Peter ("I'm a pilot!"), Matt genuinely appears to believe that this Bachelor process could actually work ("I think it can," he tells his cute mom), despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Rated: B Jan 5, 2021 Full Review Brooke Leigh Howard The Daily Beast The reality show did the exact opposite of what it was trying to do when it comes to representation. Mar 20, 2021 Full Review Maria Sherman The Muse/Jezebel The fairytale formula is starting to reveal its faults: No one seems real, the villains are cartoonish, and it's hard to tell who is actually invested in this process. Jan 26, 2021 Full Review Laura Bradley The Daily Beast Matt's season is a long-overdue landmark for the franchise with its first Black male lead-a mantle that comes with serious pressures of its own.
