Barbi Benton was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Benton began her acting career with roles in the series "Hee Haw!" (1968-1995), "Sugar Time" (ABC, 1976-78) and "CHiPs" (NBC, 1977-1983). She also starred in the TV movies "The Great American Beauty Contest" (ABC, 1972-73) and "The Third Girl From the Left" (ABC, 1973-74). In the beginning of her Hollywood career, Benton acted in films like "Wie Kommt ein So Reizendes Maedchen zu Diesem Gewerbe?" (1970). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Celebrity Challenge of the Sexes" (1979-1980), "A Country Christmas" (CBS, 1979-1980) and "Circus of the Stars" (CBS, 1979-1980). Later, she earned a role in "Hospital Massacre" (1980). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Murder, She Wrote" (CBS, 1984-1996). Additionally, she could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Magic With the Stars" (1981-82), "Celebrity Daredevils" (ABC, 1982-83) and "Hugh Hefner: American Playboy" (1995-96). Benton most recently acted on "The Girls Next Door" (E! Networks, 2004-2010).
