      Beverly Sanders was born September 2, 1940, in Hollywood. She studied acting at the Actors' Studio under Lee Strasberg. Throughout her career she worked in mostly comedy, and has appeared in more than 100 television and film roles. Two of her best-known roles were her appearance on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" as the waitress Rayett and on "Rhoda" as Easy Susie, Rhoda's pregnant friend. Sanders appeared regularly on the classic series "Lotsa Luck" in 1973 with Dom DeLuise, and followed with stints on "Sanford and Son" in 1974 and "Kojak" in 1975. Sanders also appeared as a recurring character on "One Day at a Time," and had featured roles on "Night Court," "St. Elsewhere" and "Barney Miller." In 1993 Sanders appeared on the sitcom "Grace Under Fire," created by Chuck Lorre. She followed that with"The Faculty" in 1996. In 1997 she appeared in the TV movie "Payback." Sanders continued to appear on numerous television series in the '90s, including "Full House," "Baywatch," and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch." She has also appeared on "Veronica Mars" and in the HBO series "Entourage," as Eric's receptionist. In the late '90s, after taking a writing class at UCLA, Sanders wrote a one-woman stage show titled, "Sir, That's My Baby," a comedy/drama about her failures to get pregnant and frustrations with adoption. Sanders has appeared in over 300 commercials in her career, and was the spokesperson for Arm & Hammer Baking Soda for 10 years.
