Bill Dearth was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "The Loneliest Runner" (1976-77), "Sergeant Matlovich vs. the U.S. Air Force" (NBC, 1977-78) and "Cocaine: One Man's Seduction" (NBC, 1982-83). He also appeared in "The Execution" (NBC, 1984-85). He also acted in various film roles at the time, appearing in the Nick Nolte action flick "48 HRS." (1982) and the Sylvester Stallone comedy "Rhinestone" (1984). He also starred in the TV movies "Streets of Justice" (1985-86), "Outrage!" (CBS, 1985-86) and "Shannon's Deal" (NBC, 1988-89). During the latter part of his career, he tackled roles on "Sisters" (1990-96), "Beverly Hills 90210" (Fox, 1990-2000) and "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" (1993-97). He also appeared in "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015). Most recently, Dearth appeared in "Officer Down" (Lifetime, 2004-05).
