Television actor Bob Morrisey has had a steady and consistent screen-acting career, appearing in over 75 roles since his debut in 1992. Born in 1946 in Somerville, Massachusetts, Morrisey appeared on screen for the first time in the infidelity comedy "Nervous Ticks," starring Bill Pullman. His first television appearance came a year later on the quirky Pacific Northwest series "Northern Exposure," in a recurring role as Gil Le Fleur. After making guest appearances on the short-lived conspiracy series "Nowhere Man," he appeared on the cult science fiction show "The X-Files" for two episodes. In coming years he would appear extensively on programs with sci-fi and paranormal themes, including the ESP procedural "Millennium," the 1995 revamp of "The Outer Limits," the teen bloodsucker hit "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and the UFO-oriented "Roswell." But Morrisey, a versatile supporting actor, also had more comedic turns in sitcoms like "Will & Grace," "Two and a Half Men," and "Gilmore Girls"--mixing the two propensities for an episode of the extraterrestrial comedy "3rd Rock from the Sun" in 2000.
