Season Two begins with the same pulse pounding drama that S1 had, with the stakes higher and the JASONs that much more pursuant. Joel Edgerton is a magnificent choice for all the Jason variations. W/links to two interviews w/series players.

Season 1 made my top 5 shows of all time. Season 2 so far has been leaving me constantly waiting for more episodes to drop. This is a perfect show for someone who likes mind bending sci-fi. I will say you will probably not like it if you just like watching stuff as background because this show requires focus to detail to understand it. If you are a deep diver into plot and detail this show is for you. I need season 3 to be green lit. I’m only 3 eps into season 2 and I’m already waiting to see season three confirmed. I can see how it may be hard to keep track of what characters or versions of characters you are following but as I said if you can keep attention to detail throughout the show I promise it will blow your socks off! 13/10 show. Please watch

I thought season 1 was one of the best sci-fi series I had ever seen, but season 2 might actually top it. It’s everything you hope it is and more. It’s definitely one of my favorite shows ever made. I just finished episode 3 and I can’t wait to see what’s next. Once again Apple TV puts out a banger, they rarely ever miss.

While Season 1 was an admirable adaptation of a solid novel, Dark Matter Season 2 becomes increasingly muddled once it ventures beyond the source material. The new territory feels unnecessary, the pacing drags, and the story assumes viewers remember every nuance of the first season.
