Poor structuring, redundant plotting, zero fun, and ample bewilderment add up to quite the mess. Go to Full Review

A little unwieldy? Sure. But it’s consistently gripping, with a budget to build out this multiverse properly and a remarkable performance(s) from Edgerton at its centre. Go to Full Review

A thoughtful, if unexpected continuation of the story, this second season takes a bold step into the unknown, delivering something different but altogether more satisfying. Go to Full Review

Dark Matter Season 2 takes Jason Dessen and his family deeper into the multiverse, promising bigger questions about identity, family and the meaning of home. Go to Full Review

This season it understands that what mattered was never how many realities might exist behind them. What's truly fascinating is discovering what part of us remains the same after passing through them. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Season Two begins with the same pulse pounding drama that S1 had, with the stakes higher and the JASONs that much more pursuant. Joel Edgerton is a magnificent choice for all the Jason variations. W/links to two interviews w/series players. Go to Full Review

marcos B @RT52808884 1 day ago This show blows my mind See more Thomas W @RT99656241 2 days ago Season 1 made my top 5 shows of all time. Season 2 so far has been leaving me constantly waiting for more episodes to drop. This is a perfect show for someone who likes mind bending sci-fi. I will say you will probably not like it if you just like watching stuff as background because this show requires focus to detail to understand it. If you are a deep diver into plot and detail this show is for you. I need season 3 to be green lit. I’m only 3 eps into season 2 and I’m already waiting to see season three confirmed. I can see how it may be hard to keep track of what characters or versions of characters you are following but as I said if you can keep attention to detail throughout the show I promise it will blow your socks off! 13/10 show. Please watch See more Rosemary A @Rosemary507 3 days ago Season 2 seems to be as interesting and intriguing as a season 1. See more Reed B @Arbuckle 4 days ago Great Sci-Fi show! I don't understand why this show doesn't get more attention? See more Brandon S @intendedplays 4 days ago I thought season 1 was one of the best sci-fi series I had ever seen, but season 2 might actually top it. It’s everything you hope it is and more. It’s definitely one of my favorite shows ever made. I just finished episode 3 and I can’t wait to see what’s next. Once again Apple TV puts out a banger, they rarely ever miss. See more Kevin E @Kerserker Sep 8, 2026 While Season 1 was an admirable adaptation of a solid novel, Dark Matter Season 2 becomes increasingly muddled once it ventures beyond the source material. The new territory feels unnecessary, the pacing drags, and the story assumes viewers remember every nuance of the first season. See more Read all reviews
