Tim Robey Daily Telegraph (UK) Gunning for dark laughs, [the film] wins a handful that thinly reverberate, but the constant straining to be both stressful and funny is a deal-breaker. Rated: 2/5 Oct 22, 2025 Full Review Guy Lodge Variety Ultimately, this odd, wicked little amorality tale winds up siding with no one: The children are indeed the future, we’re left to conclude, but will they make it any better than the present? Sep 25, 2025 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com This is a consistently engaging, funny film, one that should provoke conversations not just about the systemic problems in education but how they reflect everything around them. Sep 10, 2025 Full Review Joe Lipsett Movie Oubliette (Podcast) Ronan is playing delightfully against type in this dark comedy that offers plenty of bite. Rated: 4/5 Oct 30, 2025 Full Review Doug Jamieson The Jam Report Anchored by a spectacularly unhinged performance from Saoirse Ronan, this is a wicked satire about the breaking point of a profession that demands infinite patience in exchange for none at all. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 28, 2025 Full Review Shannon Connellan Mashable It's a dark dance of ethics, and one that draws wonderful moments of pure comedy from both Ronan and Waller.
