After decades of being blown to bits by bombs, demolished by dynamite, mangled by magnets, battered by boulders, trampled by trains, tricked by tunnels, sprung by springs, steamrolled by steamrollers, maligned by misfires, bedeviled by bungees, rattled by rockets, backstabbed by bat suits, rocked by rocket skates, upended by unicycles, quaked by quake pills, rubberized by rogue bands, and hurled headlong off every cliff in the Southwest, Wile E. Coyote (Genius) finally fights back. Teaming up with billboard accident lawyer Kevin Avery (Will Forte), he takes on slick corporate counsel Buddy Crane (John Cena) and ACME, Inc., the profit-obsessed conglomerate behind every one of the Coyote's chaotic catastrophes.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

A daffy satire that's equal parts heart and wily humor, Coyote vs. Acme makes a triumphant case for the Looney Tunes' modern relevance with a sense of good-natured mischief that'd make even Bugs Bunny bow.

I don't know about you, but I have to love any movie that's clever enough to turn Wile E. Coyote into a role model. Go to Full Review

Directed by Dave Green and written by Samy Burch, the movie is a loving tribute to the idiosyncrasies of the “Looney Tunes” universe and its colorful characters, as well as a scathing takedown of megacorporations and their unsavory operations. Go to Full Review

All's well that ends well, and it all ends wild, wacky and funny. This is a totally unserious and lighthearted movie that works. Go to Full Review

Go see Coyote vs. Acme to be reminded that a group of children laughing is the best sound in the world, and a group of people laughing have more power than most people would like to admit. Go to Full Review

It’s also a Looney Tunes-tinged commentary about how the out-of-touch men with Foghorn Leghorn energy are ruining the world with their corporate greed and soulless capitalistic erections. Go to Full Review

Chris 2h Absolutely fantastic. Those of us that grew up with Looney Tunes will ADORE this…. And those that didn’t, well…. I wager they’ll like it, as well. See more CMoize 2h Loved it !! Meep meep. See more Heily 2h If you love movies that introduce cartoons and real life problems together, then this movie is for you! It has a good way of telling us the problems many people or animals face because of big corporations. But would definitely recommend, since it’s also funny, and brings me back to when I used to watch looney tunes 24/7! See more Fidel 2h I liked seeing how Coyote interacted with the real world. He's not just loony all the time he's capable of being well-behaved when he's not scheming, and his developing friendship with Kevin is touching. Not to mention, the movie gave me a few good laughs. See more James 3h Classic fun! It was an absolute blast See more Jane 4h **★☆☆☆☆** *Coyote vs. ACME* is boring and suffers from a weak storyline. It is neither entertaining nor funny, and its plot may not connect with young children. Most of the cartoon characters feel like brief cameo appearances rather than meaningful parts of the story. Overall, it’s a disappointing movie that isn’t worth the money—don’t waste your time or cash. See more Read all reviews
