British actor Bruce Langley was plucked from obscurity to star as Technical Boy in the long-awaited TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman's award-winning fantasy novel, "American Gods" (Starz, 2017-). Born in London, Langley studied Physical Actor Training and Performance at the University of Kent before making his on-screen debut in short film "Lie" (2014). A year later he played Jake, a young man who falls in love with a siren, in horror movie "Deadly Waters" (2015) and time-traveling killer Adam in short "Dox" (2015). After adding another short, "The Prime Location" (2016), and "Your Move" (2016), a low-budget film about a unique dance project, to his resume, Langley achieved a major breakthrough when he was cast alongside fellow Brits Ricky Whittle and Ian McShane in "American Gods" (Starz, 2017-). Adapted from the same-named Neil Gaiman novel by Bryan Fuller and Michael Green, the fantasy drama saw Langley take on the role of Technical Boy, the chameleon-like and unpredictable New God who feeds off society's devotion to the internet.
