Brokaw made film his next project, appearing in "Air Devils" (1938) and "Convicts at Large" (1938). Later in his career, Brokaw acted in the drama "Murder in the Air" (1940) with Ronald Reagan. Brokaw passed away in October 1975 at the age of 77.
