Charles Morton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Morton kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Colleen" (1927), "Dressed to Kill" (1928) and "Four Devils" (1928). He also appeared in "Christina" (1929) and "The Far Call" (1929). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the thirties and the forties, appearing in "Caught Short" (1930) with Marie Dressler, the Marlene Dietrich drama "Blonde Venus" (1932) and "Goldie Gets Along" (1933). He also appeared in "Lumberjack" (1944) with Andy Clyde. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the drama "At Gunpoint" (1955) with Fred MacMurray, "Westbound" (1959) and the western "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" (1962) with James Stewart. Morton last acted in "Sex and the Single Girl" (1964). Morton passed away in October 1966 at the age of 59.
