The documentary aired on the History Channel, was narrated by Sean Penn and received largely positive reviews. In 2015 Nachman began work on "Batkid Begins: The Wish Heard Around the World," a documentary about "Batkid," a child suffering from cancer who, with the help of the Make A Wish foundation, was able to play the role of comic book superhero Batman for a day. The event was a worldwide phenomenon and had a tremendous impact on social and news media coverage. Nachman's documentary explores the decisions leading up to the day, as well as the aftermath of the event. In addition to her work as a filmmaker, Nachman was a guest lecturer at Stanford University.
