Fred Emney
Fred Emney was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Emney began his career with roles in the Jack Buchanan musical comedy "Brewster's Millions" (1935), the comedy "The Fast Lady" (1962) with Leslie Phillips and "Bunny Lake Is Missing" (1965). Emney next focused his career on film, appearing in "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines" (1965) with Stuart Whitman, "Oliver!" (1968) with Ron Moody and "Lock Up Your Daughters!" (1969) with Christopher Plummer. He also appeared in the comedy "Doctor in Trouble" (1970) with Leslie Phillips and the comedy "The Magic Christian" (1970) with Peter Sellers. Later in his career, Emney acted in the Hilary Pritchard comedy "Adventures of a Private Eye" (1977). Emney passed away in December 1980 at the age of 80.
