Gage Golightly

Gage Golightly was an American actress who was a castmember on numerous TV shows in the 2010s, including "Ringer" (The CW, 2011-12), "Teen Wolf" (MTV, 2011- ), and "Red Oaks" (Amazon, 2015- ). Despite being born with an affliction that interrupted her speech, known as apraxia, Golightly managed to overcome the disorder and pursue her lifelong desire of becoming a screen actress. She started auditioning for roles at a very young age and landed her first part in 2002 in the drama "Speakeasy." Over the next few years she landed a number of roles in TV movies like "A Christmas Carol" (2003), "Sudbury" (2004), and "Don't Ask" (2005). Then in 2007 Golightly nabbed her first recurring TV part on the TNT drama "Heartland" (TNT, 2007). The show, however, was a ratings disappointment for the network and was abruptly cancelled after nine episodes. Undeterred, Golightly continued to audition for primarily TV roles and in 2009 she joined the cast of the Nickelodeon comedy "The Troop" (Nickelodeon, 2009-11). Golightly played the part of Hayley Steele on both seasons of the show, thus adding more luster to her already growing TV career. "The Troop" may have ended in 2011, but Golightly's career only continued to rise. Over the next few years she landed recurring parts on "Ringer" and MTV's "Teen Wolf," the latter of which she appeared as the show's very first female werewolf. In 2015 it was announced that Golightly would be appearing in the new Amazon Studios comedy called "Red Oaks." The show, which was set at a country club in the 1980s and executive produced by Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh, debuted on Amazon's streaming television service in October of 2015.
