Gina Gillespie's acting career took off when she was just five years old. Gillespie worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Playhouse 90" (CBS, 1956-1960) and "Andy Hardy Comes Home" (1958). Later, she acted in the Fred MacMurray western "Face of a Fugitive" (1959) and the comedy "It Happened to Jane" (1959) with Doris Day. Later in her career, Gillespie acted in the Bette Davis adaptation "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" (1962).
