Jacklyn Zeman, born on March 6, 1953, was an American actor best known for her portrayal of Bobbie Spencer on the daytime soap opera "General Hospital" (ABC, 1963- ). Joining the show in 1977, she became a beloved and enduring figure in daytime television for over four decades. In addition to her iconic role, Zeman appeared in several other TV shows and films, including "The Edge of Night" (CBS/ABC, 1956-1984) and "One Life to Live" (ABC, 1968-2012). She also appeared in the movies "Young Doctors in Love" (1982) and "Deep in the Valley" (2009). Zeman received multiple Daytime Emmy Award nominations throughout her career, solidifying her status as a soap opera legend. Beyond acting, she was active in charity work and health awareness campaigns. Zeman passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 70.
