James Moody worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Moody worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Show" (CBS, 1987-88), "Great Weekend" and "Throb" (1986-88). He also contributed to "Wheel of Fortune" (1974-2014). During these years, he additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the crime picture "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" (1997) with Kevin Spacey. He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Wolf Trap Salutes Dizzy Gillespie: An All-Star Tribute to the Jazz Master" (PBS, 1987-88) and "Grammy Legends Show" (CBS, 1990-91). Moody also created music for "James Baldwin: The Price of the Ticket" (PBS, 1988-89). Moody continued to exercise his talent in the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Rock & Roll Jeopardy!" (VH1, 1998-2002), "Magnolia" (1999) starring Jeremy Blackman and "Sesame Street" (PBS, 1999-2000). Moody last acted on "Soul Food" (2000-04). Moody passed away in December 2010 at the age of 85.
