In 1984, he became a story editor and writer on the private eye adventure series "Remington Steele." Wirth's gone on to build his reputation as a producer working on a string of dramas, including "Picket Fences," "Nash Bridges," "The District," and "Ghost Whisperer." In 2008, Wirth served as executive producer on the "Terminator" spin-off series "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."
