Paul Gilbert was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Gilbert marked his early career with roles in "The Duke" (NBC, 1953-55) and the musical comedy "So This Is Paris" (1955) with Tony Curtis. Gilbert next focused his career on film, appearing in the June Allyson comedy adaptation "You Can't Run Away From It" (1956) and the Jane Fonda comedic adaptation "Cat Ballou" (1965). Later in his career, Gilbert acted in the drama "Sylvia" (1965) with Carroll Baker.
