Peter Coffield
Peter Coffield was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He had a part on the television special "Enigma" (CBS, 1976-77). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Adams of Eagle Lake" (ABC, 1974-75). He also starred in the TV movies "The Man Without a Country" (ABC, 1972-73) and "Cry Rape!" (CBS, 1973-74). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Washington: Behind Closed Doors" (1977-78). He also appeared in the TV special "Tartuffe" (PBS, 1977-78). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "W.E.B." (NBC, 1978-79). Coffield focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the Tim Curry drama "Times Square" (1980) and the Marsha Mason dramatic adaptation "Only When I Laugh" (1981). He also was featured in the TV movie "Senior Trip!" (CBS, 1981-82). Coffield more recently appeared in "O'Malley" (NBC, 1982-83). Coffield passed away in November 1983 at the age of 38.
