With his impressive range of characters and projects, many fans might not know much about who Peter Gadiot really is. Born in London in 1986 to a Dutch father and a Mexican mother, Gadiot grew up fluently speaking both English and Spanish. He enjoyed an intense love of soccer, and was prepared to pursue a professional career on the field until an injury cut his dreams short. Unsure of what interest he should put his energy into, Gadiot signed up for an acting class on a whim and was instantly taken with the craft. He enrolled at the Drama Centre London and never looked back. By 2010, he had made his first TV appearance on an episode of the comedy series "My Spy Family" (Cartoon Network, 2007-2011). He followed this with a three-episode arc on the series "Fresh Meat" (Channel Four, 2011-) before landing the breakout role of Cyrus on "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" (ABC, 2013-14). Next came a supporting role on the spy series "Matador" (El Rey, 2014-2015). Then in 2016, Gadiot joined the cast of the acclaimed crime series "Queen of the South" (USA, 2016-). While the show was becoming a major hit, Gadiot also began appearing on "Supergirl" (CW, 2016-) as the quizzical character Mr. Mxyzptlk.
