Scott "Einstein" Epstein spent the idle hours of his childhood fighting with his friends. By the time he reached high school, the fights came to incorporate various weapons, but it wasn't until his late teens and early twenties that he began to train as a professional fighter. Epstein trained at gyms in Long Island, New York City, and Hollywood, where he obtained his black belt from the notorious Eddie Bravo, who developed the 10th Planet System, a non-traditional style of Jiu-Jitsu. Epstein proceeded to enjoy a highly successful string of mixed martial arts matches from 2004 to 2007: four wins, zero losses. Epstein's career, however, has not only been successful in the realm of fighting--he has also appeared in numerous films. 1999 saw his debut with a small role in the romantic comedy "Trick," after which he put in appearances on such prominent television shows such as "The Sopranos," "NYPD Blue," and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." In 2010, Epstein landed a starring role in the short drama "Numb." Epstein plays Tyler, a mixed martial arts fighter who struggles to balance his relationship with his son and his training for the most important fight of his life. In 2011, Epstein appeared in the action film "Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown."
