Shanesia Davis-Williams has appeared in several notable feature films, though her greatest body of work remains in television. Her film outings include "The Weather Man," the dark comedy about a TV meteorologist (Nicolas Cage) juggling family responsibilities with career aspirations, and "With Honors," about a Harvard honors student (Brendan Fraser) whose relationship with an enlightened homeless man (Joe Pesci) opens his eyes to deeper perspectives on life and love. Davis-Williams is most recognizable for her portrayal of Marissa Clark, the blind former receptionist on four seasons of the TV series "Early Edition." The show is about a man (Kyle Chandler) who receives news of his future before it occurs, allowing him to intervene and make changes to help people. Marissa Clark is one of his key confidantes. To prepare for the part of a blind woman, Shanesia Davis-Williams worked with a seeing-eye dog and the Chicago Guild of the Blind.
