Shug Fisher
Shug Fisher was an actor who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout his Hollywood career. Fisher kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the Henry Fonda dramatic adaptation "Mister Roberts" (1955), the horror feature "The Giant Gila Monster" (1959) with Don Sullivan and the Jeffrey Hunter mystery "Sergeant Rutledge" (1960). He also appeared in the James Stewart western "Cheyenne Autumn" (1964) and the James Stewart drama "Shenandoah" (1965). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties and the seventies, appearing in "The Reivers" (1969) with Steve McQueen, "Smoke" (1970) and "Guns of a Stranger" (1973). He also starred in the TV movies "Cutter's Trail" (1969-1970), "Key West" (NBC, 1973-74) and "Huckleberry Finn" (ABC, 1974). Fisher was most recently credited in "Help Wanted: Kids" (ABC, 1985-86). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Louis L'Amour's The Sacketts" (1978-79). Fisher passed away in March 1984 at the age of 77.
