Born on May 15, 1966, in Trenton, New Jersey, Lori Ann Rambough, known professionally as Sommore, is an American comedian and actress. She graduated from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia, where she studied business administration. She has done guest appearances on several sitcoms, including "The Hughleys" (1998) and "The Parkers" (2002). Her film appearances include "Friday After Next" (2002), "A Miami Tail" (2003), "Soul Plane" (2004) and "Something New" (2006). Sommore has also appeared on various shows including, HBO's "Def Comedy Jam" (1995), "Showtime at the Apollo" (1996), "ComicView" (2014) and "BET Live from L.A." In 2008, she appeared as one of the mob members on several episodes of the game show "1 vs. 100." Sommore launched the worldwide premiere of "The Queen Stands Alone" on September 30, 2008. Sommore's 2015 special, "Sommore: The Reign Continues," aired on Netflix in 2018.
