Ty Dolla $ign

Born April 13, 1982, in Los Angeles, Calif., Tyrone William Griffin Jr., better known by his stage name Ty Dolla Sign (stylized as Ty Dolla $ign or Ty$), is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. Ty Dolla $ign started racking up hits at the dawn of the 2010s. After assisting the "worldwide underground" likes of Sa-Ra and Erykah Badu, Ty reached the mainstream through YG's "Toot It and Boot It" (2010). Ty Dolla $ign made his major-label debut on Atlantic in 2013 with "Paranoid." As a solo artist, he released "Free TC" (2015) and "Beach House III" (2017). In 2015, Ty Dolla $ign appeared in the movie, "Get Hard." Ty Dolla $ign has topped the Hot 100 with Post Malone's "Psycho" and teamed up with Jeremih for MihTy (both 2018). On May 20, 2019, Ty Dolla Sign released "Purple Emoji" (featuring J. Cole). On August 9, 2019, he released "Hottest in the City" (featuring Juicy J and Project Pat). On July 1, 2020, Ty Dolla Sign released "Ego Death" (featuring Kanye West, FKA Twigs, and Skrillex). "Featuring Ty Dolla Sign" was released on October 23, 2020. In 2022, Ty Dolla $ign released the Wiz Khalifa collaboration "Champions" and the Mustard-produced "My Friends" (featuring Lil Durk).
