Vincent Hoss-Desmarais
Vincent Hoss-Desmarais was a French-Canadian actor. Hoss-Desmarais landed his very first screen role as the lead on the Canadian TV series "Casting" (V-Tele 2005). The show only lasted for a single season, but Hoss-Desmarais continued to nab TV roles in the years that followed. These included guest spots on "Les invincibles" (Radio-Canada, 2005), "C.A." (Radio-Canada, 2006-10), and "The Business" (IFC, The Movie Network, 2006-07). He nabbed his first film role in the horror film "Orgy of Blood" (2010) and followed that up by appearing in the comedy "L'Empire Bo$$é" (2012) and the international action comedy "RED 2" (2013). Hoss-Desmarais's breakthrough role came when he appeared as a fledgling writer who develops a friendship and a deep intellectual bond with the esteemed playwright Samuel Beckett in "Meetings with a Young Poet" (2013).
