Birthplace: Alexandria, Egypt

Actor Zeeko Zaki paid his dues as a guest and supporting actor on series like "Six" (History Channel, 2017- ) and "24: Legacy" (Fox, 2017) before graduating to series regular work as a federal agent on the Dick Wolf-produced "F.B.I." (CBS, 2018- ). Born Zakareya Zaki in Alexandria, Egypt, he emigrated with his family at the age of 1 year to the United States, where he was raised near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Wilmington, Delaware. Zaki became interested in acting in high school after seeing a production of "Seussical"; noting how much the performers seemed to be enjoying themselves - and how much appreciation they received from the audience, he took a role in his school's production of "Beauty and the Beast," and continued to perform in subsequent shows. After graduation, Zaki left acting to study business at Temple University, but after transferring to Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, he decided to return to performing and auditioned for a school drama. Casting director Jackie Burch was in the audience at one performance, and after auditioning for acting coach Susan Walters, he decided to make acting his full-time pursuit. Zaki made his feature debut in the 2013 comedy "Stuck in Love," with Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Connelly, and from there, worked steadily in bit and supporting roles on series like "Homeland" (Showtime, 2011- ) and "Under the Dome" (CBS, 2013-15) and in the occasional feature like "Allegiant" (2016). In 2017, he earned his breakout role as the jihadist Akmal on the History Channel's dramatic series "Six," and played military figures on both sides of the international war on terror in Fox's short-lived "24: Legacy" and "Valor" (The CW, 2017-18). After steady work in recurring and character parts, Zaki moved up to his first role as a series regular on "F.B.I.", a drama about bureau agents in New York. Zaki played Special Agent OA, a former undercover operator for the Drug Enforcement Agency who joins the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
