Audience Member started off pretty interesting but it just got real lame towards the end. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie tried really hard to be more than it was (felt like they wanted to be the next PI, to be honest). It was a good, haunting story, well done and acted, but just seemed to not become the cohesive total package. I'm sure there was a lot of the symbology that I missed out on, too. I was more intrigued by the pre-credit focus on the sanitarium it was filmed out and the history of it - and with the photos running through the credits, you get the idea that this was supposed to be a nod to that history, and if so, boy did they miss the mark altogether. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is less about time travel and more on focusing on the psyche of the main character. An artsy film that jumps around a bit, and doesn't really make sense till the very end. It's not bad, just have to pay attention more than most movies. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Maybe annoying, pretentious and impossible to follow for some. But as you drift through this world with Jack, you've just got to let go and enjoy the slow burn. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Good solid story ( once you get the gist of it ) ... I'll echo that this is very much Lynch-ian 'homage' that get's crushed... I found myself wanting to see a Lynch film after this to wash the taste off my brain.. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
