      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Only loosely based on the original TV series, Land of the Lost is decidedly less kid-friendly and feels more like a series of inconsistent sketches than a cohesive adventure comedy.

Stephen J The first 10 minutes of the movie was the best: very funny. Once they got to the land of the lost, the movie got really boring. And not very funny. But then at the end, the comedy got better. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/24 Full Review Grant T A fun will Ferrell comedy that feels like a very original movie !! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/24 Full Review Dalilah P Plot is very strange and boring Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/26/23 Full Review Todd M I love Will Ferrell and like the rest of the cast, so I was predisposed to enjoy this movie. And there were lots of funny bits, it would not have been a great movie but but it would have been a good one. Except . . . the monkey thing. It just screwed the whole thing up. It was simply too weird, cheap and contrived of a character in every way. It just looked and acted stupid! And distracted from everything else. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/17/23 Full Review Larry K Possibly the greatest movie of all time not kidding Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/11/23 Full Review Michael S This movie was just way ahead of its time. If you look at the scores when it released it was HATED...look at the scores now and it's beloved lol. It's so damn stupid but honestly we don't have a lot of movies with zero agendas that are purely stupid fun these days. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
