Brian Weathersby (Paul Dano), a mattress salesman with successful siblings, wants to get more out of life. He makes a decision to adopt a child, and, as he begins the process, strange events begin to occur. First, Brian starts to think he's being stalked. Romantic story about the weirdest characters from the weirdest families. Deschanel and Dano do a good job but it is just not that funny nor works that well. It is just too artifficially weird.
