Audience Member Deranged is an oddball entry into the obscure 80's horror hall of fame. I wasn't expecting much going in, but I instantly found myself dragged in to the film's many clever plot twists and turns. The way the heroine's mind deteriorates is genuinely original and features many surprise cameos by people from her sordid past. It's very clever stuff. The acting is pretty solid too. I HIGHLY recommend tracking this little known gem down. Fans of films like Polanski's Repulsion will find lots to love here.
