Alistair B This isn't a Bad British Flick forget about this being Right Wing Propaganda by Critics at the time it's just Fictional entertainment that's all.The Late Lewis Collins of The Professionals British TV Action Show was seriously being considered for The James Bond Part in The Early 1980's.I think Collins playing an SAS Soldier in Who Dares Wins was a possible warm up to him playing James Bond. One thing is certain Roger Moore who I liked in The Saint & The Persuaders TV Shows should've quit The Part after The Spy Who Loved Me he was way too Old looking to play 007.I think that Collins would've done okay in The Part like Timothy Dalton & Daniel Craig it would've energized The Film Franchise again.I found it interesting that Edward Woodward who played a Spy in The acclaimed Spy TV Series Callan a Decade or so before is also in this Film in a secondary Role in a George Cowley type Part. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/14/23 Full Review Michael S Even though the critics hate this movie because of, well just about everything, I still like it. Mostly because I adore Judy Davis but also because I like to see terrorists get their asses kicked. So screw the critics. I'm going to sit back and enjoy my umpteenth viewing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/19/22 Full Review Audience Member definitely worth seeing for the final act it's a good action movie if you like comando style action movies it's definitely one to check out Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A jolly good terrorists/SAS movie. It is not a blockbuster film, as it could have been in later decades, but very good for the time. Some of the acting is a bit wanting, but the movie has good pace and is very entertaining. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Way too boring and dragged out drama. This needed to be chopped down by a half hour at least. Because the last 20 minutes is fantastic all around. Great action, great score, even great politics, but to have to slog through an hour and 40 minutes to get there... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/19 Full Review Audience Member They rushed this film out and it shows. The seduction sequence and the rock concert are genuinely funny without wishing to be. Nice action piece at the end saves it from Razzie status. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times There are so many errors of judgment, strategy, behavior and simple plausibility in this movie that we just give up and wait for it to end. You know you're in trouble when the movie's audience knows more about terrorism than the terrorists do.
