Indiscreet spins rom-com gold out of a premise just sturdy enough to set the stage for typically delightful work from its wonderfully well-matched leads.

Philippa Snow New Statesman We are never unsure about how Indiscreet will end, but the way it gets there -- lightly, cleverly, at a pace and with a rhythm that is closer to a foxtrot than a sprint -- makes the exercise worthwhile. Apr 30, 2021 Full Review Katy Noviello Los Angeles Times "Indiscreet" is short on plot but more than makes up for it in style. Jan 25, 2019 Full Review Dave Kehr Chicago Reader A fine light comedy, with unexpected passages of seriousness, marked by the Donen touch in its adventurous visuals and vivacious performances. Aug 19, 2014 Full Review Jordi Batlle Caminal El Pais (Spain) Kind Sir- builds a warm work that thanks to a precise, methodical arrangement of framing, planning and narrative cadence, breaks its theatrical structure to offer itself eminently cinematographic. Mary B I love both of the actors, but the movie seemed for for the most part, long and drawn out with not too much action. My favorite part was Carrie Grant dancing. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/24 Full Review cem y It was very entertaining, and it could watched solely for the charm and beauty of Ingrid Bergman who really shines with this character. However, I think the story is too weak and it results in a kind of stretched production which lacks some things to put but still enjoys being a feature movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review s r This started good, then took a turn for the childish with the plot twist. I lost interest, but stuck with it until the end. Saw it on TCM. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Ed M Really fun romantic comedy. Doesn't get much better than Cary Grant & Ingrid Bergman. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/24/21 Full Review Luca D Not the most creative plot. The sets and costumes make the movie in my opinion. It's neither Bergman's nor Grants best performance. The romance is pretty dull, but the movie does keep moving. Probably won't watch again. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/19/21 Full Review indie a A must see for fans of Cary Grant, Bergman, or rom coms.
