Michael J. Casey Michael J. Cinema "Pursued" stands on its own thanks to New Mexico’s stunning rock walls and vistas (shot by ace cinematographer James Wong Howe), an overheated performance from Wright, a detached Mitchum, and plenty of accidental death. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 6, 2024 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy This Western is one of the best examples of the film noir template expanding beyond its normal parameters. Rated: 3/4 Jul 7, 2024 Full Review Joe Riddle Arkansas Democrat-Gazette All the actors excel in their roles. As Jeb, Mitchum is perfect in the role of man haunted by his past. And Jagger's Grant is one of the most vile characters on film. Apr 23, 2021 Full Review Jack Moffitt Esquire Magazine Pursued is not so much a Western as a strong human interest story located in the West. It has its hard riding and fast shooting, but Sperling is less interested in perforating his characters than in showing what makes them tick. Mar 11, 2020 Full Review Richard von Busack MetroActive Raoul Walsh's Pursued is a different animal-a noir-Western with Freudian underpinnings. Aug 25, 2017 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Combustible Celluloid Outstanding "noir" western with odd psychological overtones. Sep 12, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews

William S Hello world! Permit me to discuss how, Cyber Genie Hack Pro team assisted me in getting my forgotten crypto wallet access back. Losing access to my wallet was traumatizing and heartbreaking to my household because it was a joint wallet where I and my partner decided to save for the future instead of using all these ridiculous financial banks in the USA controlled by the Matrix.  Our precious crypto savings were on the verge of vanishing before our very before. If there is one thing I am forever grateful for in 2024 is my encounter with Cyber Genie's team. These guys didn't even let me explain my task fully, how they delved into getting solutions for me to access my crypto wallet back still wows me and my partner. There's no better way to start the new year than with the best tech team ensuring my family's data are safe on the internet. Mitchum is strong but stoic to the extreme (I don't remember him smiling once during the entire picture). However, although the unusual story is intriguing, it gradually loses momentum as it advances. Russel (lovely here) plays a character that bounces so wildly between love/hate as to become unworkable as a serious love interest for Mitchum. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review william k Dark noir Western reaps ups the passions in a mysterious, violent family feud with a doomed Robert Mitchum caught in its midst; compelling with beautiful black-and-white cinematography. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A little unconvincing at times, but it was released in 1947 so that's not too shocking. The story doesn't come together until the very end so most of the film is spent wondering what everyone's problem with Jeb is. Either way, the New Mexico landscapes are incredible, the story is original, and Robert Mitchum was the ultimate gentleman. Worth a watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member a very good western with noir texture nice horses to. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member A psychological western that at least sort of addresses the social causes of that psychology, i.e. the law/state prohibiting love, first as adulterous and then between legal but not biological siblings.
