Another 80's flick that I'd never seen until now. Betsy Russell can't pull off the role of ingenue. The music is weak, as well. At least some of the cast is nice to look at.

Thin plot where a female mechanic falls for a race car driver and, eventually, beats him on the track. Still somewhat enjoyable thanks to star, Betsy Russell, who actually out acts her peers.

I liked it. It did show her bare breasts quite a bit. Other than that, I guess it was ok. I mean, I don't think it will ever be considered a classic "Titanic" type movie by any means. That's ok. I've heard the expression that it's a "B grade" movie, which I can agree to that due to the style of acting.

Tommy's one-note and completely irrational, but Russell captures the primary colors with ease, fulfilling her obligation as the focal point of the production.
