Jammus Excellent movie with fantastic acting, featuring dark and realistic scenes of chaos and death. This obscure gem is definitely worth watching. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/24 Full Review Audience Member Flawed and some stiff acting, but overall ambitious and compelling... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Given the current pandemic, it is an interesting film to watch. The combination of biological and nuclear warfare antagonism is prevalent. Unfortunately, the movie is way too long, with a lot of long shots where nothing is occurring but the travel of a ship or clips of vacant cities. The acting is basic, with nothing in the script to generate an inspired performance. Goes to show you that just throwing money at a project does not make a good movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Adult Sci-fi with aging allstars that will make you think. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Sometimes overwrought but mostly heartbreaking. Yeah. I'm man enough to admit I wept at like three different points in this movie. I defy anyone to watch the 5 year old Toby Anderson trying-to-work-the-radio sequence and then tell me they didn't well up. The US version sucks by ending the movie with everyone (left) and everything blowing up, so do yourself a favor and track down the Japanese cut. At least it ends with a glimmer of hope (though the trek south sequence could've stood some trimming) Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A biological weapon released in a plane crash spells the end for Earth's population except those stationed in the Antarctic leaving the eight females left with several dating options. Loaded cast. Film was better early with the release of the virus and tailed off in the second half. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
