I was 14 when the movie came out out, and very romantic. The music is wonderful, and, at 84, in a 60 year marriage, I kept breaking down in tears, remembering all the good times we've shared. How lucky we are to be playing out the loves our lives until one of us dies!

Mario Lanza's voice is phenomenal, and there are some great songs in this musical. If you like old Hollywood musicals, you'll love this. I also really like that the story takes a turn one might not expect.

Epic waste of time. Two hours of buil up and no climax. You sit through boring song after boring song, but there's no payoff. This one should have remained a play for the theater because it's a stain on the cinema screen.

This movie succeeds on the basis of the wonderful music, Mario Lanza's voice, the charm of Ann Blythe and the wonderful band of character actors such as Edmund Gwen and the lovable "Cuddles."
