Audience Member A patient, romantic film from the Van Damme canon, this one trades the flashy martial arts for big-hearted drama. Jean-Claude purists will not be disappointed! The film’s down-home, country conflict has gotten better with age, the central character relationships are sweet and tender, and there’s some solid action to boot! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/05/24 Full Review Fred K I thought it was a sweet story. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/24 Full Review William D Great movie lots of fun. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/22/23 Full Review Vicky H Not exciting and boring fight scenes. Well at least Van Damme is still younger and hot when this came out. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/19/23 Full Review Jack O Jean-Claude Van Damme has Nowhere to Run. Now that film really took my interest and I decide to give it a watch and then I think it was decent. Not good, not bad. It has some drama to it and then has action which you want to see from Van Damme. It does get boring and dull at parts and time but it does have some great action fight scenes like Van Damme escaped from the prison bus, the motorcycle chase and the end fight scene which is awesome. Two of them scenes, the motorcycle and the end fight which I think in the third act is awesome. This movie has some awesome fight scenes and it was a shame cause it was just your average action film. Kind of entertaining in parts but again I expect more from Nowhere to Run. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/19/23 Full Review Danny R It was your typical van damme movie, except the addition of Ted Levine as the hard man villain which ultimately ruined it for me Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
