Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times Directed with surgeon-like precision by Chicago native Andrew Davis Aug 5, 2023 Full Review Duane Byrge The Hollywood Reporter Call something a "real train wreck" and it's considered a put-down. Not in this fast-track, no-stops chase movie with a massive train-wreck scene that's going to have audiences scrambling for cover. Aug 7, 2019 Full Review Clifford Terry Chicago Tribune Working from a tight script by Jeb Stuart and David Twohy, director Andrew Davis has fashioned a crackling, intelligent thriller. Dec 26, 2023 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy This contains enough suspenseful set-pieces, clever red herrings, and spectacular stuntwork to satisfy most thriller aficionados. Yet what really makes the movie work are the performances by the two leads. Rated: 3.5/4 Nov 25, 2023 Full Review Josh Larsen LarsenOnFilm The definition of a satisfying Hollywood action drama. Ben W Truly such an unexpected surprise! I was not expecting to enjoy this film this much! I’m so glad I finally saw this classic movie! IN THE THEATER! Loved it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review Kevin P An awesome action thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time thanks to its excellent step-by-step pacing that is constantly moving yet continues the logical A-to-B methods of every move made by Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones’ characters in an epic matchup of cat-and-mouse. Both actors knock it out of the park and leave you heavily invested with a sense of satisfaction, as they both continue to make smart and clever choices that keeps you guessing on who’s going to get what they want first. The characters’ intelligence leaves them flexible to new evidence of the crime scene, which is a breath of fresh air compared to so many other on-the-run movies where the authority figures never believe the hero no matter how obvious the fabrication is. The bus and train crashes were amazing and impressive with how they pulled it off for real. It’s also refreshing that the movie actually shot on-site in the city of Chicago instead of any stand-ins. The cinematography took great advantage of the grand scale gothic architecture vistas of the city. They even shot a chase sequence live at the actual St Patrick’s Day Parade near the Chicago River dyeing. It’s a hugely entertaining action thriller that puts you in the shoes of the fugitive and is easily one of Harrison Ford’s most underappreciated performances. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/18/25 Full Review Daniel C. M Another great individualistic action revenge thriller that is complimented by the amazing performances and chemistry of the two main characters (Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones) and a great script overrall. Really nothing much more i can say, must-watch if you are a fan of the genre. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/16/25 Full Review Mostafa Z I have watched the movie and I am extremely disappointed in the story title and storyline!!! I would not recommend it to anybody unless your trying to waste 2 hours of your life over this shitty ass movie😟 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/05/25 Full Review Audience Member Well written and acted by Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones. While it certainly has some suggestive practical effects like the dummy falling from the dam, It's still a good watch and a good time. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/25 Full Review Daniel S Great film that holds up. Watched it again with some family who haven’t seen it and it didn’t disappoint.
