Satin B The horses were the Star Cast ⚠️ Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/04/24 Full Review Steve D Flawed but entertaining. I really would have loved to see what the original plan would have looked like before the new director/script. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Generic western. One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone makes a period piece & doesn't bother with historical accuracy. The makeup is wrong, women simply did not wear their hair down, even the men's hair styles are too modern & too many of them have shaved faces, the ones who do have beards aren't wearing them in styles that would have been popular at the time, everything is brown & colorless & Victorians were very big on use of brightly colored paints & wallpapers & richly colored clothing, even the poorer classes, the electric appliances are too advanced for the time period & lack the open wirining, the streets should be cobbled, Wrong kind of trees for Oregon, etc. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Liam D Even with a great central cast that cannot save a boring Western Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/19/21 Full Review Matthew D A passable moive with some decent action and a bit of social-commentary. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/10/21 Full Review Audience Member It's a silly-ass Western from the 90s, that plays more like a cheesy romance novel. But the girls are clearly having lots of fun, and it's infectious. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/21 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Owen Gleiberman Entertainment Weekly Rated: C- Sep 7, 2011 Full Review Jonathan Rosenbaum Chicago Reader It's the usual combo of high concept and low execution, and not even Jonathan Kaplan's background as an exploitation director can bail him out. Feb 8, 2010 Full Review Marjorie Baumgarten Austin Chronicle Rated: 1/5 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...a hit-and-miss piece of work that is, if nothing else, fairly watchable from start to finish. Rated: 3/10 Sep 9, 2020 Full Review Emanuel Levy EmanuelLevy.Com A tale about women in the West is a good idea for a genre that's been male-dominated, but not in Kaplan's shallow picture that looks like a fashion spread.
