christopher c. m The plotline is a tad strange for a cop and dog buddy picture and the tone is all over the place. But honestly it mostly works for me. Chuck and the dog work well together. And Reno (I don't know if that's the dog's real name, he didn't get a credit) was brilliant. Just because it's not a tearjerker drama doesn't make the social commentary less important. One can't win with critics. But Chuck Norris fans need to have this. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review alex i Chuck Norris in a buddy cop film with a dog, what could go wrong? Well. The biggest problem is the audience. This film doesn't know if it wants to be a kids cop movie or a bad boys film. It's literally everywhere. I honestly believe if it went full rated R, this would've been great. It has anything a chuck norris film would have. Guns, explosions and kicking ass. But out of the action, the plot is insanity and some characters are unlikable. Especially Chuck Norris' character. They're written like cardboard, flat. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member very entertaining, nice story. great action scenes, also there are some funny scenes. that is, what a movie should be. chuck norris is great as in many of his movies. kai wulff is as always a great villain. maybe there are similarities with K9 and other police/dog movies, but there are also many, many robin hood movies Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review steve d Norris hits a new low. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Dog Walker Texas Ranger? I felt like a movie that wasn't too serious tonight. Figured why not watch Chuck Norris teamed up with a shaggy sidekick. As expected, this movie was full of cheese and slow motion roundhouse kicks. It really did feel like an uneventful and long episode of Walker, Texas Ranger. This movie had an identity crisis. Most of the time it tries to be a family movie with dog jokes and more crotch kicks than I can count, but then it throws in the very serious subject matter of Neo-Nazis mass murdering minorities. The heavy subject matter mixed with slow motion death scenes have this movie a PG-13 rating. It probably would have been better suited toned down as a full on family movie. If your looking for a Cop meets disobedient canine then you're better off watching Turner and Hooch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member love it, gonna make love to this movie the story is so complex and entirely relatable. Love Chuck Norris in this the dog could have done better though. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
