Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Those expecting the double entendres and other naughty bits that later became Hill's trademark won't find any of that here. Rated: 2.5/4 Jun 6, 2021 Full Review Clyde Gilmour Maclean's Magazine Benny Hill, a comedy star of British television, makes his big-screen debut in this fast, rather frenzied detective farce. On the whole, an entertaining show. Oct 23, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Comedy Sketches Full Of Buffoon Moves & Slap-Stick Renditions Fill This Silly Story To The Brim. The Routines Have Airs-&-Graces Of The Modern Day Comedies Of Today (2015-onwards) As Far As Films Go Though, This Lacks Any Real Magic Of The Classics Set In The Similar (60s) Era & You Can See Why Benny Hill Had A Bit Of An Uphill Battle To Make His Make On The Scene In These Early Days. I Still Enjoyed It & Could See The Early Signs Of Those Classic Quirky (Who Me?) Faces He Does So Well. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review simon d Obviously little more than a launchpad for Benny Hill and his ability to wear disguises and try to be funny. This is not funny, not good, and not a whodunnit film. Quite a disappointment as the comedy Benny Hill is best known for is totally missing.
