After serving three years in prison covering for her gangster boyfriend, Kevin (Jeremy Northam), Gloria (Sharon Stone) returns to New York City for the money she was promised. Inside Kevin's base of operations, she finds 7-year-old Nicky (Jean-Luke Figueroa), whose family has been killed. Nicky is hanging onto a computer disk that incriminates the gang. Sharon Stone was iconic, beautiful, and amazing in Gloria. Showed a action-thrilled side of herself. This one wasn't boring. It kept me and my family in the loop. Sexy and dramatic and action-packed. Jean-Luke Figueroa was a joy to watch. This flick was smooth, simple, classic touch.

Just average movie and feel abit tad too long. Sharon Stone just release from prison after 3 years and find her ex-boyfriend Jeremy Northam who is a baddie. His men just killed an accountant and his family who has a diskette of info which he don't want to expose. Only the young boy Jean-Luke Figueroa escaped but is still caught at the street. Jeremy don't know what to do with the boy. Sharon can't get her share of money out of the jail rap she took and after hearing the boy may be killed, she save him and escape. Along the way is the cat chase rat race minus the thrill. Sharon and the boy try and slowly get use of each other. Sharon enroll the boy in a catholic school but their location are expose by snitch. The boy is caught and Sharon must handover the diskette. She find big boss/old lover George C. Scott for help and he advise her to handover and he will assure nothing bad will happen. After the peace exchange, Sharon dump the boy in the school but she can't bear to let go and return for him.
