Introverted Curt (Justin Urich) tries out for the high-school musical with the encouragement of his popular brother, Andy (Eric Balfour) -- and, to almost everyone's surprise, he lands the lead role. It turns out, though, that Andy had called in some favors to get his brother the part. Dejected, Curt drops out of the play, but then finds himself falling for Lisa (Keili Lefkowitz), the girl who would have been his leading lady. When Andy starts wooing Lisa, Curt responds in dangerous ways.
