A critic can't say much about this movie except it works up a good amount of lather and how much you like it will depend on how surprised you are by its zigs and zags. Go to Full Review

The opening scenes of this thriller look and feel like something I've seen dozens, maybe hundreds, of times before. Go to Full Review

"10x10" overcomes limited locations and a slight narrative thanks to a plot that keeps viewers guessing, all the way from its shocking opening act of violence to a bruising and morally hazy final fight. Go to Full Review

There's no wildly unexpected twist in this psychological thriller, but the movie does well at feeding the audience gradual pieces of the puzzle and leaving them eager to see how it comes together. Go to Full Review

Opts for a melodramatic thriller angle rather than psychological horror. Go to Full Review

First-time director Suzi Ewing manages to wring tension from the shaky set-up, staging the action with bloody, bruising flair, while her two stars do their all to bring their sketchy and inconsistent characters to life. Go to Full Review

G A @Mooveeman319 4h Just not a good movie. Decent initially but got hard to believe. The woman was beating the crap out of the man. What a wimp. Sorry, a movie has to be somewhat realistic. See more NKJ T @Nkj618 1d Terrible. And how does this man continually get overpowered by this woman? This movie works if it stars Leslie Jones and Timothy Chalamet and they completely overhaul the script. See more Braelyn R @braelynreising 2d SPOLIER! This movie was terrible. Parts didn’t make sense like when he put the bag over her head than proceeded to drive off just to drive right back up, an how nobody saw the kidnapping in a busy parking lot makes 0 sense to me, It was than drawn out. It’s impractical as well, she makes a call to 911 with the only description being the car an that it’s a dodge. he goes out an sits by the water, an police show up saying they got a call with a car matching his description. How did they 1. know he was by that water, 2. theirs so many dodges how did they narrow it down to his that quickly? Made 0 sense an then they just leave. It was a pointless scene. Than the nurse lady somehow over powers him when she’s tiny and he’s much larger an was only stabbed in the shoulder. Idk i could keep going but they put a limit on the amount of of words, all i gotta say is horrible movie, don’t recommend, it’s slow, an almost all of it doesn’t make any type of sense. See more Bill P 3d Not a bad gag but it's a 20 minute short blown up to a feature length film. It takes an hour to get the gag - why the kidnapping - and then takes the rest of the film for them to duke it out three or four times. SPOILERS FOLLOW... Plot issues: this guy built this 10x10 room to kidnap this former nurse. Later we find out his kid lives with him. So he built this secret jail without the kid ever noticing? The ending is kind of up, the killer nurse is dead and the kid is OK and the police sirens are wailing in the distance. It looks like a happy ending but he has to explain why he built a private jail and kidnapped this women. The house was set to record everything so the story of her killing his wife would be on record. But kidnapping, imprisoning, beating up, and killing her is still a 25 to life felony. See more Joshua m @Flameon 5d This film had a somewhat compelling potential, but just seems underdeveloped. The pacing is off, and it takes forever before the character motives are revealed. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Feb 22 10x10 starring Luke Evans promises a tight psychological thriller but struggles to sustain momentum. The premise is simple and effective on paper: a man kidnaps a woman and confines her to a ten by ten room, demanding answers to a hidden past. That setup should create suffocating tension. Instead, the film feels oddly stagnant. Despite its brief runtime, the pacing drags. Scenes stretch longer than they need to, and just when the story hints at escalation, it retreats into repetitive dialogue. The confined space could have amplified suspense, turning every glance and pause into a weapon. Instead, much of the film relies on back and forth exchanges that lack urgency. Luke Evans gives a steady performance, bringing intensity to a character that needed sharper writing. The direction feels restrained to a fault, never fully exploiting the psychological chess match at the center. While the concept holds potential, the execution feels flat, leaving the film claustrophobic than compelling. See more Read all reviews
