Moon B Over the top self aware B movie fun. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Audience Member LOL "we knew something was off right away" - oh, was it the neon green eyes, neon blue veins, & glowing teeth perhaps? haha. if you're looking for a good movie, this ain't it. it's EXTREMELY campy, so i guess if you're into that maybe you'll enjoy it. it was just too over the top for me; i wasn't in the mood. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member The Convent's inclusion of a single character seen only at the beginning and end of the film is basically all that separates it from being a shot-for-shot remake of Night of the Demons. Which I gues doesn't sound so bad in theory, I mean, I like that movie, so ripping it off isn't the worst idea. But if you're gonna steal the entire concept, maybe don't steal some of the other stuff. Like I think it would've even been easier to swallow if it was just something as straight forward as making the "demons" look different from how they do in Night of the Demons, you know, just for that little bit of originality. But I guess that's too much to ask. I honestly did still kind of enjoy this though. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Without a doubt one of the campiest horror movies I have ever seen. The cheese factor is off the scale. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Hilarious, brutal, blasphemous, and insane, The Convey is a horror-comedy that doesn't fall apart on either front like most horror-comedies. A film that will surprise and delight horror fans from beginning to end, The Convent is a truly original and genuinely crazy piece of horror cinema.... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Its low budget, but delivers this sort of a night of the demons and evil dead megamix, highly entertaining with great satirical moments. Its a party movie! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Emanuel Levy EmanuelLevy.Com Rated: 2/5 Jul 6, 2005 Full Review Eric D. Snider eFilmCritic.com Everything is played way over-the-top, using the traditional trappings of a teen horror flick, but using them so much they become satirical. Rated: B- Mar 16, 2004 Full Review Read all reviews
